Removing and appointing a Supervisory Board member
Pursuant to §5 (1) (22) of the Regulation of the Minister of Finances of 19 October 2005 on current and periodic information provided by issuers of securities, the Management Board of EMC Instytut Medyczny S.A. informs that on January 15,2015 Eduard Maták was removed from the Supervisory Board by the Extraordinary Meeting. Furthermore, Mateusz Słabosz was appointed a member of the Supervisory Board of EMC Instytut Medyczny S.A. by the Extraordinary Meeting that day.
In accordance with the submitted statement, the newly appointed a member of the Supervisory Board does not conduct business activity competitive towards EMC Instytut Medyczny SA, nor has he been entered into the Register of Insolvent Debtors under the National Court Register Act. Mateusz Słabosz has belonged to the Penta Investment group since 2012 and is co-responsible for investments in EM&F, Iglotex and EMC. Previously, Mateusz Słabosz gained experience working for consulting companies with the so-called. "Big Four" as well as a private equity fund, coordinating major financial operations.
His experience covers a range of industries including Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), retail trade, transport, energy, waste management. He received a Master's degree in Quantitative Methods in Economics and Information Systems from Warsaw School of Economics. He also studied at Queen's School of Business in Canada. Moreover, he is a CFA Charterholder who passed all three levels of CFA exam.
