Pursuant to §5 (1) (22) of the Regulation of the Minister of Finances of 19th  October 2009 on current and periodic information provided by issuers of securities, the Management Board of EMC Instytut Medyczny S.A. informs that Mr Attila Vegha was appointed a member of the Supervisory Board of the Company at the Extraordinary General Meeting that was held on 20th December 2016.

In accordance with the submitted statement, the newly appointed member of the Supervisory Board does not conduct business activity competitive towards the Company nor has been entered into the Register of Insolvent Debtors under National Court Register Act.

Biographical data of Mr Attilla Vegh -the newly appointed member of the Supervisory Board:

Dr Attilla Vegh is the president of Penta Hospitals Group and a qualified medical doctor, who practiced internal medicine and completed his PhD in molecular cancer research. He holds an MSc in Health Management from Imperial College, London. Before joining Penta Investments, he worked for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. Before this, he was the Managing Director of NHS South West Essex Community Services . He has also worked for McKinsey and Company, advising leading healthcare providers and academic medical centres on strategy, operations, organisational development, and mergers and acquisitions in Europe, Asia, and the USA.
