The Management Board of EMC Instytut Medyczny S.A. (hereinafter referred to as the "Issuer", "Company") informs that on October 10, 2019, it began negotiations with the Staroste of  Kamieński Poviat in determining the terms of a possible sale of an organized part of the Issuer's enterprise, i.e.  St. George’s Hospital in Kamień Pomorski to the Kamieński District at the symbolic price of "a zloty".

Along with the kickoff talks, the Issuer provided the Staroste of the Kamieński District with the most important, anonymised information on the components of the enterprise and the financial situation of the organized part of the enterprise.

The beginning of negotiations that aims at selling St. George’s Hospital at the symbolic price of "a zloty" is due to the fact that the Company is no longer able to provide hospital services to the extent expected by the District authorities, as well as due to social responsibility and concern for the welfare of the residents of the Kamień District.

The Issuer shall inform the public in a separate report about the conclusion of the sales contract or about other way to complete negotiations.

The Issuer considers the above information confidential because of the value of a potential transaction, as well as its importance for the Company.
