Appointing a Management Board Member
The Management Board of EMC Instytut Medyczny SA (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Issuer’, ‘the Company’) announces that Marcin Fakadej has been appointed as a Member of the Management Board of EMC Instytut Medyczny SA and nominated to serve as a Vice-President of the Management Board by the Supervisory Board Meeting that was held on 4 September 2019. The appointment is effective immediately.
In accordance with the submitted statement, Marcin Fakadej does engage in competitive business serving as Management Board Member for other Care Up B.V. capital group companies such as Private Clinic Certus Sp. z o.o. and Penta Hospitals Poland Sp. z o.o., however he does not participate in competitive entities as a partner in a civil law partnership, or a member of the authorities of a company, or participate in any competitive legal entity as a member of its authority neither , has been entered into the Register of Insolvent Debtors kept pursuant to the National Court Register Act. Marcin Fakadej has gained the consent of the Supervisory Board to serve as a member of the management board of the following competing companies: Private Clinic Certus Sp. z o.o and and Penta Hospitals Poland Sp. z o.o.
As a Vice-President of the Issuer's Management Board, Marcin Fakadej will be responsible for company’s finance.
Marcin Fakadej (born in 1982) graduated from Wrocław University of Economics where he obtained a master’s degree in Finance and Banking in 2006 as well as in International Relations in 2007. He has 10 years of experience, working as a Financial Director in the following companies: Dr. Max Polska, Procter & Gamble, Microtech International S.A., Innovation Technology Group S.A., CUBE.ITG. He co-authored the company's development strategy based on increasing shareholder value. He was credited with the dynamic development of enterprises he managed, two of which recorded a tenfold increase in revenues while he was holding the position of CFO.
His work experience includes IPO, construction of a modern Shared Service Center, over 60 M&A transactions, together with the largest one worth PLN 240 million, as well as obtaining financing on the domestic and international market.
In addition, Marcin Fakadej has work experience as a member of the Supervisory Boards of listed companies and is a long serving lecturer at the University of Economics; currently he is doing his PhD in Mergers and Acquisitions.
