The Management Board of EMC Instytut Medyczny SA (the ‘Company’) announces that on 25 September 2018 it has initiated a review of strategic options to strengthen the financial position of the Company with a view to  expanding its business, which includes reducing the current Company’s debt (not excluding consolidation or debt-to-equity swap) as well as obtaining additional financing.

Various strategic options will be considered during the review, in particular: share issue, debt financing, group restructuring (including a merger) and other types of transactions or refraining from taking any of the above actions.

As of this moment, no decisions regarding any specific strategic options have been made by the Management Board; moreover, it is uncertain whether or when such a decision will be taken.

Legal grounds : Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 on market abuse (market abuse regulation) and repealing Directive 2003/6/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and Commission Directives 2003/124/EC, 2003/125/EC and 2004/72/EC –Art. 17 (1).
