Appointment of a Management Board member
The Management Board of EMC Instytut Medyczny S.A. ( the ‘Issuer’, ‘the Company’) announces that on 20 September 2018 at the Supervisory Board meeting, Tomasz Terlecki -the financial director- was appointed a Member of the Management Board of EMC Instytut Medyczny S.A. effective immediately.
In accordance with the submitted statement, other than within the Company, Tomasz Terlecki does not conduct any business activity including any activity competitive to the Company. He is not a partner in any competitive business, such as civil or private partnership or limited partnership nor is he involved in any other competitive legal entity by acting as a member of its governing body; neither has he been entered into the Register of Insolvent Debtors.
Tomasz Terlecki was appointed a member of the Management Board of EMC Instytut Medyczny SA on 20 September 2018. He is responsible for the strategy, management and financial control of the EMC Group, risk management, acquisitions, investments, purchases, controlling, internal audit and ensuring corporate governance.
Tomasz Terlecki is a certified auditor. He has a postgraduate degree in finance and banking from the University of Economics in Wrocław. He has also completed the Strategic Leadership Academy program and Management program run by CIMI & HBR. He obtained a Master’s degree in electronics from Wrocław University of Technology.
He has a strong strategic finance management and auditing background from working among others in:
-UNIT4 - finance director, member of the Management Board (2013-2017)
-Elsevier - finance director, member of the Management Board (2012-2013)
-Ruukki - finance director (Eastern Europe) (2009-2012)
-Lincoln Electric - finance director (Central and Eastern Europe) (2002-2009)
